Other Online Auctions - Not eBayThere are lots of other online auctions that are not eBay, however I've not seen a lot that are good. There are many to choose from if you do a search for online auctions, you will find them too. I have studied many of them and I am going to tell you the ones I think are worth looking at. Amazon is getting very popular and I have bought and sold on amazon myself. They are a great company and I've had no problems. If you pull up Amazon.com it will just take you to their marketplace where people shop, however if you go to amazon.com/auctions, there will be a tab at the top of the page that says auctions and you can click on that. It's similar to eBay. Just sign up and go over the tutorial on how to list your items.
If you have a storefront where you can display items, the truckload may be just what you need. Here is an example. I was browsing on there this morning and saw a lot of radio controlled race cars. The lot has 72 brand new cars with controls, still in the box. When I logged off the auction only had two more hours to go and the bid was sitting at $275.00. The cars will probably go for $300.00 to $350.00. That is just a little over $4.00 per car! So you can see if you have a little money to invest, you can buy from this auction, then sell on another!
Bidz.com is known as the "Home of the $1.00 No Reserve Auction". None of their items have reserves set on them and they are selling real gemstones. Diamonds, rubies, and more are listed with complete descriptions. Proof that they are real comes alone with the purchase. I've seen diamond wedding bands go for under $50.00! I love Bidz.com!
Government Liquidation Auction
Govliquidation.com is a spin off of liquidation.com. They sell for the government. You can find anything from military cots to office furniture and vehicles. They have strict rules on bidding and getting the merchandise picked up, but some really great deals!
