Auction Merchandise Pickup

Merchandise Pickup

If you have already read the section on storage building auctions you know that you will have a lot of merchandise. More than will usually fit in an automobile.

Some of the auctions I attend are small enough items that I can take home with me that day. There are some auctions that have large furniture, cars, and other large items that may take a little longer to get home. This can really be a problem if you get the bid on a storage building auction or several large items from a live auction and have to remove them quickly.

Go prepared when you attend a large item auction. Some of the newspapers will list a phone number for the auction house or auctioneer. Its worth a call to find out if they give you extra time for the pickup. If no phone number is listed, just ask some questions at the registration table.

Also, if you have a pick-up truck and trailer, take it along. If you don’t have a truck, there are plenty of small items just waiting for you to put them in your car!

Just remember that all winning bids must be paid for on the day of the auction!

Now that you know the basics, select the auction you are excited about and let's get started!

If you haven't reviewed storage building auctions do so now.
