Some people call them swap meets. The original swap meets were just that. People gathered to swap items. Possibly a farmer swapped vegetables for dry goods.

If you want items to sell online or want to sell things you don't need, then this is a good venue.

These type of sales have everything from new to antique items. And as you walk from vendor to vendor you can negotiate the price if you see something you like. They don't really expect you to pay the first price they tell you.
