Computer auctions are a great way to get that computer you have been wanting without spending a lot of money. Even if you have one of your own you might want to use computer auctions to get a cheap computer for your children. Many people are not aware that a lot of large corporations and colleges have periodic sales for computers, printers, and copiers. It doesn't mean anything is wrong with the equipment either. Sometimes it is only a matter of the company or college wanting to upgrade.
I have attended some of these auctions and you can see from the photos that most of the equipment is working. Students also put their computers in these sales. You can get laptops, desktops and more by attending. I found out when the college was having their auction from a friend. It seems that this particular school has one about every three months and you can get on a mailing list so you will know in advance when and where they will be. Just make a few phone calls and you will find some in your area. If you are good at repairing and upgrading computers then this type of sale can really be beneficial to you. I saw a desktop go for $75.00 while I was there and it was working. Laptops go for more money, but still they were a steel at $120.00 to $275.00. Try some of these computer auctions out and save lots of money!
