Auto Auctions

Auto Auctions and eBay Motors

Even luxury vehicles can be bought for discounted prices on eBay. But before you start bidding on vehicles there are some facts you need to know. To be safe and make your purchase easy and enjoyable, eBay has set in motion many resources to help you along the way.

First you need to find which vehicle interest you. This can be done by using the search function or just browsing the vehicles. Once you find a vehicle you are interested in buying your journey begins.

Establish contact with the owner through email and ask any questions that may not have been answered on the listing. Some sellers may even list their phone number if you'd rather call. In auto auctions, just like regular eBay auctions I always check a sellers feedback before buying from them, however this is not to say I would not buy from a new seller. If the seller is new but I talk to them over the phone and feel they are reliable, I will purchase from them .

Learn About Feedback Here

If someone offered you this jar of gold for $5,000, would you

buy it? Of course not, at least not right away. You would want

to know the value of the jar of gold first. It's the same way

with vehicles up for auctions. Never buy one unless you are sure

you know what the value is!

If you aren't sure if the vehicle is worth what the seller is asking you can always refer to the Kelly Blue Book or the NADA guide to new and used cars.

Most auto auction sellers will expect some form of deposit when you bid on their vehicle. So when you are figuring up your cost, add in the deposit(deducted from the bid of course), tax, title, and transfer. Also to be included in your cost is the shipping or trip to pick up the vehicle.

Tax,Title, And Transfer

Now that you know what the vehicle is worth, you are ready to bid and see if you are the high bidder.

As I told you earlier, eBay has quite a few resources that will help you with your vehicle purchase. Click on the link below to find out about the vehicle protection program, history report, inspections, and financing.
